DUNGEON SYNTH / DARK / AMBIENT / MEDIEVAL
I've been very into Dungeon Synth letely, which is an ambient (musical) subgenre that transports us to the old medieval times through a primitve sound (close to a soundtrack).
D.S. is an strong movement nowadays, plenty of underground artists / bands that produce their own works (usually tape) and find inspiration in the early Black Metal (80's-90's), Northern Europe folklore and Middle Age movies.
Beyond the music, Dungeon Synth's aesthetics recovers the old mediaval icons (forests, castles, knights...) and places them into a minimalist space plus ancient typos.
Both sound and iconography is soooo elegant!

DUNGEON SYNTH / OSCURO / AMBIENTAL / MEDIEVAL
Últimamente he estao totalmente inmerso en el Dungeon Synth, que es un subgénero musical ambiental que trata de transportarnos a un pasado remoto, propio de la Edad Media, a través de unos sonidos arcaicos y primitivos, muy cercanos a una banda sonora.
El Dungeon Synth es un movimiento bastante asentado en la actualidad y está repleto de artistas y bandas 'underground' que auto producen sus propios trabajos (a menudo en casete). Todos ellos encuentran inspiración en el Black Metal más temprano (80's, primeros 90's), el floclore europeo y la esencia de las películas medievales.
Más allá de la música, la estética D.S. recupera los viejos iconos de la Edad Media (bosques, castillos, caballeros...) para emplazarlos en un espacio minimalista y austero.
Tanto el sonido como la iconografía resulta la hostia de elegante. Por eso espero que le deis una oportunidad a este mundillo guapo de cojones_
